As video content becomes a must-have marketing tool for business, Pure Brand Media is very excited to be launching a new practical video training course for business, run by experienced broadcast journalists.

The one-day course is specifically-designed for business owners and marketing teams who want to learn how to create video content themselves using smartphones or digital cameras.

You’ll learn the basics of filming and editing, and you’ll get to put the new skills into action. This is a very hands-on, practical course and you’ll be able to take home usable video content for your social media channels.

The course is being run by former broadcast journalists who have decades of experience in the industry. They have extensive filming, editing, interviewing and production skills – and will be passing on some tricks of the trade!

  This practical one-day course will cover basic filming and editing techniques, including lighting, audio, interviewing and shot-making.

  It will also look at equipment, video formats and different types of video content.

  • How to set up shots
  • How to conduct an interview
  • Basic lighting tips

  Afternoon: Editing, to include:

  • Editing software options
  • How to edit a simple video
  • Adding branding and captions
